The chicken coop is one of our favorite spots in the western part of the des moines metro area. friendly and fun with plenty of tvs to catch your favorite team. my personal fave is the wings, naked and crisped before serving with ranch for dipping. having them naked allows you to enjoy their smoky flavor.. Chicken coop is wdm classic sports bar with great bar food.. service was excellent.. i recommend a spot in the bar area unless your with kids then they have a nice separate section with tables.. wings are the best in town. i got the regular hot buffalo which were perfect. awesome place to catch a game, will be back again soon..
